When colours and prints reinvent a flat
Unless you're in a new build, it's difficult (if not impossible) to find a flat that perfectly suits your taste. One person's aesthetic choices are not the same as another's - so it's not uncommon to make a few adjustments to remove a gaudy paint job or an aging floor, in short, to adapt the space to the newcomers' desires. Sometimes, however, the problem comes from a lack of decoration. Commissioned to work on a typical Haussmannian flat in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, Caroline Debono quickly identified the owners' desires - and above all what they no longer wanted. The all-white walls of the 205 m2 apartment gave off an impersonal and sad atmosphere. Instead, the family dreamed of inviting colour and patterns to create a living space that really felt like home. A request that was perfectly fulfilled by the creator of Atelier CVD, who was able to revive the flame of this old property with real decorative bias.
